Our house was founded in 1953 and has been family-owned from the beginning. It is placed in the heart of Munich-Nymphenburg.
This part of Munich is often referred to as “green oasis”. Not only the park around the famous Nymphenburg Palace, which is one of the most popular attractions in Munich, but also the botanical garden right next to the park as well as the sprawling Hirschgarten with Munich’s biggest beer garden (called “The Royal Hirschgarten”) enjoys great popularity. Moreover, there are magnificent streets in Nymphenburg with its Wilhelminian Style mansions to admire. This beautiful area is indeed an architectural treat.
In the year 1953, the Hotel Kriemhild opened between the Nymphenburg Palace and the Hirschgarten on the corner Kriemhilden- and Guntherstrasse. Be at home whilst on the way!
Hotel Kriemhild am Hirschgarten in Munich Nymphenburg is there since more than 60 years. The slogan “Be at home whilst on the way” has it’s origin in the 70s when more and more patrons and friends of the family learned to appreciate the equipment, the atmosphere and the location of the hotel Kriemhil in Munich. Not only that the guests felt welcome, they even felt like home. This is a kind of luxury that neither business travelers nor Munich visitors nor families want to miss.
For a good start to the day, you can request a continental breakfast from our self-service buffet. This includes all coffee specialities, tea, apple and orange juice, mixed rolls, pretzels and croissants, as well as cornflakes, muesli and yoghurt. In addition to butter, margarine, a selection of jams, nutela, cheese and cold cuts, there are also boiled breakfast eggs, vegetables, various types of cheese spread and fresh fruit such as apples, oranges or mandarins.
Price EUR 12.00 per person, children up to and including the age of 6 have breakfast at no extra charge.

Start your day invigorated
In our recently refurbished and air-conditioned breakfast room and the adjoining conservatory we offer you a balanced and varied breakfast buffet.
You will find among other things the following dishes on our buffet: whole products and local breads, sweet pastry, bread and wholemeal bread, cereal and other cereals, nutritious nutrients like sesame, sunflower or pumpkin seeds; Cranberry grapes and other dried fruits, of course also fresh fruit such as annanas, melon or mango, homemade noble jams from the Black Forest from the house “Faller”, honey and maple syrup with waffles for our guests from the USA and Canada. Fruit, natural and organic yoghurt, sausage and cheese slices, delicious fresh cheese, curd cheese or various types of cheese. In addition to fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, peppers and cucumbers, the breakfast egg and scrambled eggs can not be missed.
There are also orange-, grapefruit- and mutivitamin-juice, carrots- and tomato juice, apple juice and mineral water
Apart from classic filter coffee, we also serve various coffee specialties such as espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato. Last but not least we offer different tea specialties from Eilles.
